Need help, guys!

Hi,

I'm currently a high school senior student. I have just receive a decision letter from my top choice school, but too bad i was rejected. I really love this school so much.

So, I want to ask if I can apply again to this school next year as a freshman after enrolling at an other college this fall?

Thank u guys in advance.

After enrolling at another college, you’d have to apply as a transfer student.

Yes I know. I just want to ask if I CAN apply again next year?

Princeton University is the only institution that I know of that does not accept transfer applications. If your “top choice” is any other college or university, you certainly can apply for transfer after you have spent some time in another college/university.

Yes, thank u. I am considering to apply transfer. But how about applying as a freshman again, just like I take gap year?

If you take a gap year, you can reapply as a freshman. Here is one parent’s story about how a student used his gap year http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/192395-no-acceptances-one-kids-story-year-later.html

Yes you can, but why don’t you appeal your application? It really shows the school that you want to be there and in doing so they may change their initial decision.
