<p>I took a full SAT practice test from the BB, and I got a math score of 630. I felt like I knew what I was doing for each question, but, somehow, I got the questions wrong. I know that I need to analyze why I got them wrong, and practice more questions like them, but is there anything else I can do to improve my math score. Please Help! I've been working on math for about 3 months and its gone up about 60 points, but I really want it to get into at least the 700's. I beg for help!</p>

<p>It won’t take long to master it if you’ve been doing well in school.
Make sure to re-do tests , expand your knowledge and undestanding on math…that’s all I can advice you.</p>
<p>There is no magic formula or tool that’ll make you a master in math. You just have to practice.</p>
<p>You gotta go through the practice books, they’ve got good info but the most important thing is to Get into The Testmakers Heads. The questions aren’t really math, it’s more like riddles - there’s always a trick and once you realize it its easy. Also, except the final question of each chapter, the questions tens to repeat themselves. </p>
<p>I suggest you start working with the Barron’s and of-course the official SAT bluebook/online course. First understand thoroughly each subject and answer tricks (plugging in/picking numbers etc.).Then turn to the blue book and do as many practice tests as you can. The most important thing is when you fail to answer a question go to the answers and really analyze them, look for the tricks! </p>

<p>The key to big score improvements is a very specific understanding of your weaknesses, and focused practice to turn them into strengths. Look back over your practice tests and try to find patterns in your mistakes. Do you miss a lot of right triangles? Do you struggle with problems involving systems of equations? </p>
<p>If you’re scoring 600+, then you don’t need to work on EVERYTHING. You’ve already got most of it down. Focus on your weaknesses, and don’t take another full test until you’ve spent as much time reviewing your old ones as you spent taking them.</p>
<p>Well, the problem is that I feel like I know what I’m doing on almost all of the problems, including the hard ones. But when I go to see of my answers are right, they’re not. :(. I have been doing targeted practice for quite a while now, and I have seen a lot of improvement (470 freshman year to 630 currently a sophomore) , but its vey frustrating when I see a problem, and I really feel That I know how to solve the problem, but again it’s wrong. I’ll be posting the problems I got wrong soon, and hopefully you guys can sort out what type of problems they were.</p>

<p>You need to read the problem correctly. D1 was math challenge(almost got D in AP Calculus), got 800 after prepping. She was between 660-690 for a long time. I believe she used Princeton Review 11 SAT tests.</p>
