Need help making a decision

So I got accepted into the following 5 schools:

Clemson Honors (instate with Palmetto Fellows, my cheapest option as I pay less than 10 grand a year and could potentially pay less)
UCLA (prohibitively expensive, unless I get a lot of scholarships, I will probably not be able to attend. It's all paid for with loans (around an 8k grant) but paying them back will break the bank.)
Johns Hopkins (decent aid estimate, got a 30K grant and 10K loans with over 10k out of pocket, the grant may just be freshman year)
Case Western (30k scholarship, 10k loans/work study; this is my second cheapest option)
Georgia Tech (haven't gotten a financial aid statement from them yet, I hear they do not give good aid but I'll see)

I am planning to study Biomedical engineering at all of these schools except Johns Hopkins, since I did not get in their BME program (instead, I will probably do biomaterials or something similar). I am planning on becoming a biomedical engineer pharmacist, or possibly med school (not entirely sure yet). Grad school is almost certainly in the cards for me, and I wish to go to a good one and have better success than I had in undergrad admissions.

My options are essentially to go to Clemson (or possibly Case Western) to save money, or to go to Johns Hopkins or Georgia Tech to take advantage of the prestige of the degree. What are some factors I should be considering, and what are your personal opinions? Any input is appreciated.

I am a National Merit Finalist but I'm not sure how much money I would get from that (I did not include that in the above estimates for costs).

When you have all of the aid packages on the table, run the numbers here: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid) Then talk with your parents about how you can make your education possible.

Grad school admission is dependent on your GPA, your letters of recommendation, your GRE scores, your statement of purpose, and any work/research/publication related to the degree you want to pursue. People get into top grad programs from colleges from all of the universities on your list. It really is OK for you to go to Clemson if you decide that is your best option for your undergrad degree.

I would personally go to Clemson. Clemson has a fantastic engineering program and you wouldn’t have to take out any loans to attend.

My choices are limited between Georgia Tech, University of southern California or University of Washington for the bio medical engineering. Which one should i choose

^ Overlake, make a new thread rather than take over someone else’s.

OP, if you intend to go on to grad/med school then keep the costs down. I would attend Clemson.
