<p>I recently started considering applying to American Universities as an international
student but I don't know where to start in terms of making my college list...
:P someone help me? </p>
<p>Heres a brief rundown of the stuff I'm gonna be putting down on my apps...</p>
<p>About me:
-Asian Male
-Attended an international school till the end of my junior year... then transfered to
a Japanese Private Highschool
-Wanting to Major sports medicine and/or kinesiology</p>
<p>Stats:
-GPA up to my junior year 2.73 (W) 2.54 (UW)
(I took 2 higher courses in the IB program in my Junior year)</p>
<p>-SAT- 1930 (MATH:710, CR:590, WRITING:630)</p>
<p>Extra Curricular:
-3 years of Basketball, 2 in Varsity (Freshmen year-Junior year)
-2 years of Varsity Soccer (Sophomore year, Junior year)
-1 year of Varsity XC (Junior year)
MVP of Varsity team in Junior year</p>
<p>-Started an English teaching business for Japanese Pre-schoolers
(2009- Present, about 70 hours)</p>
<p>Volunteer:
Helped coach the national youth special olympics team for 2 years. From the second
year, I became an official volunteer staff after receiving a coaching certificate</p>
<p>Volunteered at the elderly home regularly since 9th grade- 100+hours</p>
<p>Essay: Great
Recs: Average</p>
<p>I know my list of colleges are going to be very limited with my GPA and me being an
international student, but anything is fine so please give me some advices!!!</p>
