Need help on College Essay

Here is the prompt

How will your individual background, experiences and personal identity influence your educational pursuits and your contributions to the campus community at the University of Florida?

Do they want an essay with big vocab or just straight to the point?
Also i have writers block and cant think of anything.

If you're adept at using advanced vocabulary words in your prose, then there should be no harm in using them in your college essay as this might demonstrate your linguistic prowess. However, if you use thesaurus words because you think they'll impress the reader, and don't really understand the connotation as opposed to the denotation of the word, then I think you'll be at a disadvantage. Personally, I like to write essays that basically go straight to the point; I think writing this way best demonstarted my style and personality. However, if you are able to achieve a balance of both in your essay, that's also fine.

The thing is im not very good at writing and i have writers block.

Anyone have any ideas?

the same here:D

I have the same problem. I haven't started my essays yet.

I have 3 (three!) 200 word scholarship essays due in less than 2 hours and haven't started.

What the **** is wrong with me

better hurry! can you use the same essays for any of them.
