Need help on concurrent enrollment

I am enrolled in UT Dallas, and I need to take MATH 1316 (Trigonometry). But I do not have the pre-requisite MATH 1314 (College Algebra) completed.

On the course details, it lists the following pre-req:
"Prerequisite: ...A grade of at least a C- in MATH 1314, or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1314."

Does the part "or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1314" mean that I can concurrently take MATH 1314 and MATH 1316 in the same semester? And if I do so, would it be possible to take MATH 1314 at a community college while I take MATH 1316 at the university?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me some insight, I really need to figure out before the term starts!

My understanding is that you can take math 1314 concurrently with marh 1316, but checking with an advisor would be your best bet in that situation. Whether or not they’ll accept the the community college credit is also something your going to have to ask your school. An advisor should be able to help you out or at least point you in the right direction.
