Hi, so it's that time of the year our school starts to plan our classes for next year and I need some serious help in deciding. First to give some background on myself, I was born in South Korea but later moved to America in 3rd grade (so English isn't my first language, but I'm good enough most people don't notice; also means I'm fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Korean). I'm currently a Sophmore in high school and my dream college would be one of the following UC's (in order of most wanted to least): UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis, or UC Irvine. I'm not sure what to major in yet, but something medical or science related I guess.

So, our school offers up to six classes per year, with no zero periods. The current schedule I'm considering at the moment is:

-AP Lang
-Pre Cal Hnr
-AP Chem
-Spanish 3
-AP USH
-Tennis/Lab aid

But I would much rather prefer AP Psychology than to take APUSH (I absolutely loathe history... Always got a 89% in them since middle school...) If I do that I can take online US History and still fit everything in my schedule, but I heard that taking online classes look bad for college(?). Not sure if that's true but if it is, there's option twp, which is to drop Spanish 3 and take the Korean subject test or take Spanish 3 over summer school/online which means I can take both APUSH AND AP Psych. (I heard three years are required but a subject test can fill that requirement? And also I might be moving over summer and going to a SAT prep summer school so not sure if I can fit Spanish summer classes...)

There's also the option of dropping tennis but I'd really rather not as I enjoy the sport. It'd also look good for colleges if I stayed committed to a sport for my high school career, would't it? Plus, an easy A and I get to spend my second semester as a lab aid for my chemistry teacher, which I'm hoping is something I can add to my resume. I don't have much extra curricular activities outside this...

Any comments and advise would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. while I'm at it, it'd be lovely if you also provided additional information on anything college, being that I'm a first generation here and can't really ask my parents for help. Thanks! :)
