<p>So I'm filling out the FAFSA for the first time. I selected "will file" for parents tax info but on the next page it asks for the tax info. Should I estimate or should I wait? My parents said the taxes will be done around Feb 1,2011. thanks for the help!</p>
<p>Estimate using last year’s tax forms as a guide…ask your parents for help with this if their financial picture has changed significantly since last year. Hopefully they retained their final pay stubs for 2010, those are generally very useful at this stage. You will have to amend your FAFSA once they file.</p>
