I received none in financial aid and there is no possible way for my parents to
pay for me attending to college. In regarding to my FAFSA, my dad made
an error on the assets value section. Rather than putting down the net
worth, it was put down as how much our property is worth. My dad
didn't subtract from how much is owed, which in result for my high
EFC. Because of that, I did not receive any financial aid.

What do i need to include in my appeals letter. What sort of things do i need to write about. I dont think i would be able to know if my appeals went through or not before the deposit deadline for housing on July 1. What address do i mail to?

aww i'm sorry chan.
but no need to worry think positive.

first call up admissions and talk to them about it..tell them abour yrou situation..dad's mistkae. and if you still have to write yoru letter:

make sure you put in these points: your future goals, how education is important to your parents and YOU especially YOU! and thorougly but breifly explain what happened in your situation. and how without financial aid, you will not be able to reach your goals and get the excellent education you worked hard these past four years for.

good luck!

oh and aks around if you need more info. my help won't do as much but its somethign to think about!

Calling admissions is the wrong advice, but under NO circumstances call the financial aid office! Correct your FAFSA and/or CSS, determine your new EFC, then write a convincing appeal letter.
