I am taking the SATII Chemistry test. I am just taking AP Chem this year so i haven't learned the stuff yet. What should i focus on studying?

And you're a senior? or you'll be taking the SAT II in June?

If you're a Senior then I'd say just get a book ...they test on a lot of stuff...theres not really any one thing to focus on...

However, if you're a Junior, im sure your AP class will prepare you fine.
I took a non-AP chem class and got a 750 Chem SATII and only a 3 AP ( :( )

I'm taking it in december, I'm a senior, it sucks cause most people take AP chem in senior year.

Get Barron's for the practice tests and PR to learn the material.

what are some formulas and random information that you might need to know?
ive read soem posts of ppl sayin it is very hard and wonder why
also every review book misses key things or ideas
any suggestions what parts that you really should review from any previous test takers?

anyone got any helpful hints?
i heard they put alot of random questions on here anyone got any ideas

there were a LOT of random questions..i took ap chem last year, but i got a 99 in the class and felt that i didnt know anything cuz the class was such a joke, so i bought a princeton review book and read it and was CLUELESS on the test. when i got home i cursed pr because they didnt prepare me for the test at all, but i got my scores back and got a 760!!! OMGWTF!!!! i'm still in shock..yea..thats my story..i just like to tell it..

No joke, I am a stud at chem; got a 5 on the AP, best in school, everything. I seriously thought the sat2 was harder than the ap mult choice part. Id avoid that test -take physics (same difficulty (about), much better curve).
