I'm majoring in Graphic Design and I got accepted to all 3 of the schools I applied to: SUNY Binghamton, SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY Purchase. The problem is I really don't know which school I should go to. Binghamton seemed like an obvious choice but it turns out they don't have my major. They told me they have a bachelor of arts with a concentration in graphic design. To be honest, I'm not really sure what's the difference so if anybody could explain that would be extremely helpful. What I'm concerned about regarding Binghamton is if the progress I've made as a graphic design major will be for nothing since I'd be taking a major in art instead. I'm assuming general art because that was all that was listed. So anyways, I'd love to hear your comments and opinions, thanks.

My son is a graphic design major at SUNY New Paltz. New Paltz and Purchase will be much more “artsy” than Binghamton. At many schools you can choose between a BA or BS in visual arts with a concentration in graphic design or do a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) which is a more extensive program with more classes required.

Thanks for the info, does anybody else have a comment?
