Besides the nursing program in any UC or CSU’s which science is best to major in if I wanted to be an RN? I know nursing is really impacted so I need a alternative major that could eventually lead to nursing.
And which one is best if I wanted to be an orthodontist? Im stuck between two careers, is there a major that could lead to both?
I know a lot of people put Biology as their second choice major for nursing. Bio could also work for dental school because you’ll need to show that you’re strong in the sciences.
Public health or Microbiology could be good options.
what do you think about biology?
Yeah ive been told biology also, sadly its my weakest subject
As long as you get the prerequisites done, you don’t need to major in biology. However, if you want to later attend a bachelors to RN program, I would try to get as much of the RN curriculum out of the way to save money and time with your second degree. You could probably do that with a major in another science.
