I am a senior in Colorado and need help picking colleges to apply to.
I am looking for medium to large student bodies, a good party scene, D1 football ( but not necessary), a good business program ( doesnt have to be great) Warmer whether ( like california, but warm whether isnt necessary just prefered) and good looking women hahaha.
i have:
Weighted ( not including senior year) GPA: 3.2
ACT: 29
took/ are taking 3 AP courses
Again, how much can your parents afford? Are you looking for financial aid?
Have you tried the SuperMatch feature on this website? You input your stats and location along with a other preferences. This will give you starting point while you do some research.

Alabama…D1 football, drop-dead gorgeous campus, most beautiful women, very good Bschool…warmer weather.
@mom2collegekids i think the most my parents would pay would be 40k, Alabama is a great suggestion, ive considered ive just been hesitant because i dont know if the vibe would be “too southern” for me, of course it could be a perfect fit i really dont have a clue hahaha. ive found myself drawn to more of the southern California schools like SDSU which is my top choice im just not sure if im going to get accepted. do you know anything about Alabama or other schools like it? are they super “southern” or not too much?
@my2caligirls good suggestions, i think im going to apply to ASU. judging by your username im hoping you have some knowledge about california schools. do you think i would have a solid chance of getting into SDSU? thats my number one pick but im afraid i wont make it even with my higher ACT score
Probably a tough admit with a 3.2 Weighted GPA - calculate your CSU GPA but if in same range will be a challenge. For what it’s worth ASU’s Carey School of Business is typically ranked higher. Good luck!
USC (California, not South Carolina) has a good business program as well as D1 football. It’s expensive, but not much more than DU, which I’m sure you know about. Daniels College of Business is great, but no football and relatively the same price as USC. On the more affordable in-state side, I’d say the University of Northern Colorado is a good option–not as much football hype but it’s D1 and their business college isn’t great, but it is good.
