Need Help Planning Senior Schedule

Still have the option of changing my schedule, so I hoped for some advice. I have 6 blocks, and currently planning on taking: AP Calc AB/BC, AP Lit, AP Gov, AP Psychology, Honors Physics and Journalism. I don’t need journalism for a requirement, just enjoy the topic. I’d rather not take a fourth year of language (I’m terrible at it), hoping that won’t affect admissions. I would love to switch AP Computer Science Principles with Honors Physics, since I enjoy programming and I’ve heard it won’t be a rigorous class (should be noted I’m weaker at science and honors physics will be a chore). However, that might be pushing the envelope to not have foreign language or a science.

I could switch journalism with AP Comp Sci Principles, but I don’t know if I could handle 5 AP courses. Lastly, I’m not great at math and AP Calc is notoriously hard at my school, so I could do Lit, Gov, Psych, Comp Sci Principles, H. Physics and Journalism, which is my “easiest” option, but I’ve heard AP Calc is generally a necessity for top-tier schools. Any thoughts?
Thanks

What do you intend on majoring in? Do you have a list of schools you are looking at?

@MerryLee Prob apply as undeclared, might do a major in English or Econ. Looking at UCs, USC, Stanford and some others.

As far a 4th year foreign language. Have you looked at those schools to see what they require?
Others familiar with California schools can give you advice.
Good Luck!

For English , you need the 4th year of language but AP stats would do. Keep journalism and physics (may be regular but will show you don’t shy away from a class top schools want.)
Econ will be more competitive than English and calculus will be expected.

So, I’d pick lit, gov, comp sci or stats, physics, journalism, foreign language.
