Hello,
I am 18 and I am a French student. I intend to study in the US next year. I've been accepted to Fordham and Syracuse University in their engineering college. I really do not know which one choosing, and I must give an answer soon. Also, I have played soccer since I am 6 and it is my passion. From what I have understood, Syracuse has a better engineering college and athletic department, but Fordham is in NYC, which is easier for me to welcome people who will visit me from France. What do you think?

Thanks a lot,

I’m not sure how much you know about Syracuse and NYC, but they are located around 5 hrs apart and if you have friends coming to visit from France that 5 hrs will literally make no difference. I would say worry about yourself and go with the school you feel right choosing don’t base your decision on how easy it is for people to visit you. If you base your decision on something that is only going to matter for 5 yrs then your going to have major regrets later in life. Choose the school that is best for you and the school you want to go to. Your friends and family from France will be able to visit you no matter which of the two schools you choose. The only reason that would come into play is if your two choices were like a school in NY vs. a school in like California. Your option right now is two schools in the exact same location.

Hopefully this helps you out

Hi PrepRmblr,

Thank you
