Bud, I had the same problem lol.

You need to buy a TI cable and hook it up to your calculator. It's confusing.

Here's a better idea. make notes on your calculator.

for example, create a program called "sequences formula." Then edit the program and just type in the notes you're going to use, for example, typing in formulas you're planning to use.

dude, for the sat, the only formulas and stuff you need to know are arithmetic/ geometric sequences, 30 60 90 triangles, sohcahtoa, slope formula, and distance formula.

trust me, that's all you need. don't freak out

im takin the ACT tmw and you cant use the ti-89.. im screwed.

how do i get it onto the calculator? i downloaded all teh programs and i have the cable

Having this program on your calculator will NOT help you on the act.

Stop stressing about it.

you need a special cable that connects to your computer and calculator, but please, don't stress out about it

Try the Visual Installation Guide:

SAT_OS Visual Installation Guide

You will need:

1.) TI-Connect software from Texas Instruments
2.) TI-Graph Linking cable (for 83+ and 83+ silver) or a USB-to-miniUSB cable (for TI-89 and TI-84+)

A standard USB-to-miniUSB cable comes with most peripheral devices that you can connect to your computer (like a digital camera, mobile phone, or PDA). Otherwise, pick one up at your local electronics store for $5-$10.

Good luck

Oh and btw, typing information into your calculator by hand is time consuming :)
