Need Help Raising SAT Score!!!

<p>Hey, i recently took the SAT and obtained the following results:</p>

<p>Math: 760
Verbal: 690
Writing: 710 (Essay 9)</p>

<p>I got a 1450/1600, 2160/2400. I want to apply to selective, top 20 colleges, and to do that I want to mainly increase my verbal score. What's the best way to do so if I'm retaking it in october? Thanks</p>

<p>Read some classic lit over the summer to work on RC. There's a book called Word Smart that's good for vocab, and the Princeton Review books are generally good for verbal.</p>
