I am currently in my second year at American River College a local community college in Sacramento, California I will likely be here for at least another 2 years due to the fact that I am starting in remedial classes because of my poor grades in high school and switching my major from music recording to philosophy. My plan and what I am doing is working on an associates in social science and eventually transferring to most likely one of the local universities Sacramento State or UC Davis to double major in philosophy and theology (the career this would pertain to is the priesthood I am looking into becoming a Catholic priest). I was also looking into minoring in possibly one of the natural sciences (physics, astronomy, biology) once I transfer to deepen my intellectual skills 2 questions would this be worth it and what branch of science in a sense is most closely related to philosophical thought in that sense???
