So I was going to take AP English at my school but I found out that it was a really bad class because the teacher just reads poetry all day and only one person got a passing grade on the AP Exam, while 20 got 5s from other more challenging writing courses.
So, I need to know what you guys think I should take:
AP Prob and Stats or AP World History

I'm going to be a junior and my courses next year will be:
AP Calc AB
International Relations Honors
Honors Debate
Advanced Composition A
Chemistry
Spanish 3

Please help. Oh and a side note, I would ask my counselor for help but we have over 6000 kids at my school and she has no idea how to help me. I asked her how to test out of pre-calculus and she had absolutly no idea that we even had the option of testing out. Oh well

AP World History is essays and more essays, while AP Stats is not. On the other hand, AP Stats is probably a lot of math. You should check out the teachers though, because for example at our school no one takes AP Stat because the teacher is impossible. Get some opinions from the people who have taken it at your school, just like you did for AP English.

If it were me I'd take AP Stat, but that's because I'm much more mathematically inclined and much less essay inclined.

I'm in APE right now and it is in NO WAY a bad class. The teacher doesn't read poetry all day, so you might want to double check your sources. I totally recommend taking the class since it does help your writing a lot (gotta love those 12 pg papers) plus most of the books are interesting to read. Do it if you really love the subject, not just for that AP test at the end of the year.

Oh if you like social studies you should take AP US History instead of AP World. The World teachers don't know crap.

My school is huge, 3 schools on one campus, so we have almost too many electives. It's fun but not when you have a jerk superintendent who keeps school open when it's -20 windchill and every other district in the county is closed, especially when you have to walk outside to go in between buildings.

Okay, rant over

Monkeyjoint knows what I'm talking about, but the person who I heard this from took it two or three years ago but I didn't realize that until after I posted. However, I still would rather take Modern Lit and the Arts and Advanced Comp A and B rather then AP English.
Sorry for the mistake =]
