Need Help Self-Studying AP History

Hi- this is my first time posting on CC and any input would be helpful from those who’ve self studied an AP history course.

I’m signed up for the AP exam for both World History and European History, and while I’m taking the Euro class, my teacher hasn’t even come close to properly preparing our class for the exam. I haven’t/am not taking any World History course. So I’m basically self-studying 2 AP exams. I’ve covered about 50% of the total content I need to cover, and only have limited understanding about the FRQs.

The issue I’m having is time. I need to figure out a faster way to (in detail) understand the concepts and trends in both classes. While I do have an advantage in World, due to my knowledge of Euro, I don’t think vice versa is true. I can realistically study 2-3 hours every day until the exam.

If someone could tell me the most efficient way to study for the exams, it would be greatly appreciated. I have Barron’s for both World and Euro, and PR for World.

PS: I’m seriously considering getting a refund on one of these exams if need be. Any advice?

Focus on one, preferably euro.

There’s less overlap than you think; your knowledge of euro alone may boost your world score from a 1 to a 2. You’ve a long way to go.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. Which exams have you taken? What do you think would be the best way for me to study?

For Euro - Princeton Review and Crash Course.

For history, I’ve only taken the USH exam, although I’ve taken a bunch of other AP’s. I’m currently in AP Euro, but will not be taking the exam as I’m over the AP limit for my college.
