I'm a soon to be high school senior. My family's income is about 45,000 so the full scholarship and help that I would receive from QB is pretty interesting but I was wondering if it would diminish my chances of getting in to the schools I want. I recently received 8 application waivers from college board and was planning to use two of them for ED at Northwestern and for Uchicago (since uchicago isnt binding). Would I be better off doing it through QB or should I just apply using the app fee waivers and if I'm not accepted to either, then use the remaining fee waivers for other schools?

You are much more likely to get in through ED then the match (which only matched only a few hundred people). If you are okay with the financial aid you would get through ED (you can estimate this using the net price calculator) and Northwestern is your clear first choice then ED would be your best bet.
You should however consider applying anyway, that way if you don’t get in ED you can forward your QB app for free to the partner colleges RD.

if you apply to Questbridge for the match and do not get matched to a college, then you can apply to Northwestern ED and UChicago EA. It is in your best interest to apply to Questbridge. BTW congrats on those fee waivers. I got some last month and will most likely use them for non Questbridge colleges.

Like @IWillKillForMIT said, Northwestern allows you to apply ED after QuestBridge National Match, so definitely go for it.
