Need help/suggestions

Hi,

I'm a junior in high school and have taken honors classes each year (3 in 9th, 8 in 10th, and 7 this year). Last year I took an AP class, Modern European History and scored a 3. I'm not sure if I am going to take another AP class next year. My GPA is around 3.1-3.2 and hope to bring it up... I will take my SAT in March and ACT in June.

I am interested in journalism/communications (am on school's newspaper staff), History (have taken several classes in HS), and Art (also have taken several classes).

So, with that said, I am looking for a school that has a good journalism/arts/history program(s). Maybe a Liberal Arts school? I'm not sure...

If anyone has any suggestions or help for me to narrow my search for a good school it'd be appreciated!

Look at Emerson in Boston, Quinnipiac U., Goucher....

Adding to Pyewacket's good list, take a look at Susquehanna U in Pennsylvania. But there are other schools across the country as well. Do you have any geographic preference?

Also, it's a good time to talk dollars and cents with your parents. It's fine to have a list of ideal colleges, but you also need to decide on some safeties, score-wise and money-wise.
