Need help Transferring!!

I just completed my first semester at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and I got a 3.88 GPA. I like the small campus and the connections I have made with some of the faculty, but I was wondering if my GPA could get me into a better school. I am an Accounting major so I would like to go to a school heavily recruited by bigger firms. The only problem I am having is that financially I have a really good package at Bloomsburg. Im worried that I won't get as much financial help as I get at Bloomsburg. Any suggestions of colleges would be welcomed. Preferably in the East Coast, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York area. Thanks so much for your help.

Any ideas?

You have a pretty good gpa what about your high school stats? Schools like Upenn(wharton), Cornell, Darthmouth are really good schools that have great recruiting though their acceptance rates are low

Well my hs gpa was a 3.4 and my sats were 510 math 490 Verbal 500 writing…not so good but I really did not care about my grades back then. Once in college I matured and academics is now my main concern. I was leaning towards Villanova. What are my chances?

It might be a reach since Villanova looks at high school transcripts and SAT scores but maybe you can talk to the transfer counselor at Villanova to see if you do not have to send them.
