I want to volunteer ,it actually works for
poor kids and has a free school, but i have to
fill out a form and i am confused what to
write,i dont mean to copy but i just want to
get an idea what to write, the questions are:
1.Why are you interested in volunteering for
(the volunteer group name)?
2.how can you use your skills and strengths
as an action group member?
3.What do you have to offer to the team?

someone help please…

So tell us… Why do you want to do this? It’s pretty hard to help formulate an answer when you’ve said absolutely nothing about yourself. Do you have skills and strengths that you’ve developed or discovered elsewhere that makes you a good candidate? Honestly, I think 2 and 3 are just different ways of essentially asking the same thing. But again, it’s kind of hard to be helpful when it asks for you to speak about yourself.

Here’s my advice. Don’t start off thinking you have to have the wording perfect. Don’t worry about grammar or sentence structure, transitions, or any of that stuff that you’ll do before submitting. Just start. You can make it a list or in the context of writing a letter to a friend at a camp. But just write as if you were talking to a friend.

Mostly, don’t try to figure out what they WANT you to say or what you think they want you to say. Speak from the heart. Did someone make a difference in your life? What motivates you to want to be helpful to this particular group? And if you think it will just be something good to list as an activity on your college apps, I suggest you dig a lot deeper.
