Need help w/ QoD

I don't understand idioms. There was a recent list of idioms, but when I went back to check if that was on the list and it wasn't. Can you point out more resources on idioms please. I tried searching gooogle, but I get expressions more so than two worded sanswers. I'm not sure if I'm making sense. I'll give examples:

What I see when I'm searching:
-A bit much
-A little bird told me
-A fresh pair of eyes
-A watched pot never boils

I'm looking for more of these:
