So I took the SAT score in October and got 1630 in which I got 590 in the math part, 530 critical reading and 510 in writing. I am planning on applying to San Jose State University and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo State University. I checked my chances of getting in and I don’t know whether I should take the SAT test again. If I do take it I will have to take it in December since October is basically over and I won’t have any time to study. I have a average GPA of 3.7 weighted and have over 300+ hours of community service. Any advice would be great. Thank You!!!
I personally think you’ll be fine, focus on your essays
@helpless2017: The Cal state application does not have essays. Cal states admissions is mainly based on GPA and test scores (Math+CR). What is your intended major? Engineering/CS/Nursing etc… will require a much higher SAT score to be competitive.
