Need Help with Academic Awards

Right now the only academic awards I have are State Math Competition Qualifier, the Harvard Book Award (valedictorian at the end of junior year), some other departmental awards, 3rd place in medicine in sophomore regional science competition, and the standard National Merit, and AP Distinction award.

Are there any academic awards (maybe some B.S. “national,” or “international” awards) that people know that I could apply for?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I suggest finding a research mentor (at a nearby college or through a summer research program) and entering your school science fair. This may seem like a really “lame” award, but placing in your school science fair will lead you to your district science fair, then the county science fair, then ultimately the state science fair. If you research is good enough, you could even enter it in the ISEF competition. Doing well there basically makes you a top contender at Stanford, MIT, and the Ivies. Entering USABO or USACO or something similar and placing as a semifinalist or finalist is a highly regarded honor. If you’re more on the humanities side of things, I suggest entering a large essay competition or something like that. Good luck!
