I'm a transfer student and I go to community college right now. In May, I'm going to get my letters back from UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, and UCI. I'm majoring in sociology and after i graduate, i'm gonna apply to business school to get my MBA. I was wondering if the undergraduate school really matters. I heard that UCLA and UCSD are way more competitve and smarter than USCB and UCI. Some people told me that when I apply to business school like USC, it's gonna be much harder for me to get in applying from UCLA or UCSD because of my competitive GPA. I was recommended going to UCI or UCSB or one of the CSUs for my undergrad, and then apply to business school. Will it be much more competitive if I apply from UCLA or UCSD?

it would be since there will be more highly qualified students at UCLA/UCSD so eventually there's more competition.
