Need help with computer audio

<p>Today I accidentally deleted my audio device, SigmaTel, thinking it was another program. I tried to re-download it but after it finishes to download, it won't work because wizard says that the hardware cannot be found or something like that. Now, I'm almost completely technologically illiterate so I have no clue what to do. I tried to "System Restore" but I don't know how to do that either.</p>

<p>Can someone tell me how can I get an audio device to work? Please note that I don't understand any complex things about computers at all.</p>

(if you have a gateway - look up gateway drivers)</p>

<p>you also need to know your serial #</p>

2) What’s the “Website of my computer”?
3) What’s gateway and gateway driver?
4) Where can I find my serial number and why do I need it?</p>
