Need help with freshmen classes for bioengineering major

Hey guys. Ill be going to rice university in the fall to their engineering school and hopefully be set as a bioengineering major later. I want to go to med school afterwards, so I wanted to know if bioengineering would be the right major to work with since I dont want to work too hard

If it is, what courses should i take as a freshman?
and should i not be planning to take any summer courses?

Saying you don’t want to work too hard sets you up for failure. With both engineering AND med school, you have to work hard. You WILL fail if you take that kind of mentality, especially on the med school front.

do you have any advice on freshmen courses?

You ARE joking, right? You want to study bioengineering and you want to go to med school…but you don’t want to “work too hard”? Sorry…those things just don’t go together.
