So I'm applying for Middle Earth and i got the the gender occupancy question about suites/halls and im a little confused.

i've narrowed it down to two options:
1.Single gender suite in a co-ed hall
2.Co-ed suite -- single gender bathrooms

now keep in mind i've never actually been in a 'hall' or 'suite' at uc irvine so perhaps the depictions of "halls" and "suites" in my mind are wrong(?)

to me a hall is basically just a hall with rooms on either side (double occupancy mostly?)

and a suite is totally seperate from a hall in that that rooms form a circle around a central living room with a couple bathrooms

but, with "1.Single gender suite in a co-ed hall" titled the way it is, are suites actually part of a hall? in that, a hall actually has suites on either side instead of just rooms? also, does it mean that in each room of the suite, it is only girls in one room while there are only guys in another and its just a co-ed suite but with same-sex rooms?

((I have the typical college hall setup in my mind atm -.-))

and with "2.Co-ed suite -- single gender bathrooms" it doesnt have "hall" in the title so does that mean that particular choice of suite is not part of a hall? which means only some suites are in halls while others are not? and the description for this one is also confusing; does it mean that, for example, in one room of a suite, it can be one guy and one girl? while #1 it can only be same-sex roommates?

Thanks for any help in advance! Descriptive answers are very much appreciated!
