Hello I’m new here and I’m not sure if this is the correct thread to be posting this to but I was unable to find a more suitable option as you can see. To shortly sum up my situation I would like to say that I’m a high school senior and I will most likely be attending a University in Iowa after graduation. I know many people say that you figure out your major in college based on your interests, hobbies, and skills. While this makes complete sense to me this also worries me because throughout my life I have always had a love of learning but I also tend to drop a new hobby or skill after the most basic understanding of it and so I’m quite worried that no matter which major I choose it will eventually become a tedious activity going to class rather than a learning experience.
Currently I’m leaning towards a Business Finance with Accounting, Spanish, Computer Science double major and I’m really just looking for suggestions for majors that I could look into that may be of interest to me. I love to read and I’ve scored decently in Reading and Science on the ACT. Math and Writing especially are my weakest points although I’m taking AP Calc and Comp 1 currently. This post may sound silly but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you!
