Need help with math

If someone can explain how to do this, that would be great, thanks

If x>0, which of the following is the equivalent to 12x^2?
a. sqrt(12x^4)
b. sqrt(144x^2)
c. 2sqrt(36x^4)
d. 2sqrt(36x^2)
e. 6sqrt(4x)

and also how would u factor this?
2. If x and y are both positive numbers and x^2+2xy+y^2=121, what is the value of x+y?

and also how would u simplfy, or express this (4sqrt(5))^2
i have the answers, just know how to do them

thanks again

bumping it up~

Break 12x^2 into 2*6x^2. If you take the sqrt of something you’ve just squared, then it’s the same thing as what you started with, right? So then you take the sqrt of (6x^2)^2 and multiply it by the coefficient 2, so that gives you 2sqrt(36x^4).
