need help with my TI-89!!

I can't figure out how to set intervals (eg;(0,90degrees)) while plotting polar graphs.
I also can't seem to find a way to deselect certain functions, like when you have multiple functions on your plotting screen(is that what it's called?).

i thought i would be able to find it in my manual, but couldn't.

hey

i don't use TI-89, but TI-83, but i think some basic stuff shold be the same.
so if i interpret correctly what you mean.

go to window, and just set the 2 extremies of the interval

but please note, you got to figure out which scale you want to use( radians, or degrees) if you want to use radians, go to mode and change it to raidans, and if degrees, you got to do the same thing( set degrees in mode)
otherwise, the graph won't work, as 1 in radian will be interpreted as something else by the calculator if you get a mode of degrees

how do i deselect a function?

f4? i think it's f4.

edit: i just checked my titanium, and it's f4. hopefully it's the same with 89 originals.

karch, thank you SO much, and right on time too, i was about to go to bed. 8 hours to go. i should get some sleep.
