<p>So I have the math and science down its just the English and reading thats really killing me. Anyone have any tips on how to do better on these subjects? thanks</p>
<p>For the reading, I usually read the passage first quickly but with concentration so that I get all the main details down. Then I go to the questions and I answer them and if needed I refer back to the passage (it is useful to underline main ideas in the passage so you can find specific material quickly) and find what I need to answer the question.</p>
<p>As for english, I have never had a problem with it but my best advice to you would be to look at the answer choices. A lot of the time, the correct answer will be significantly different from the other choices, and that is how I tell that it is the correct answer. Take a look at the following example.
23.) Blah blah blah blah
a.) cat
b.) dog
c.) bear
d.) vegetable</p>
<p>Obviously the correct answer would most likely be d.) vegetable. Again, this is what I find most helpful when I do the English section. Good luck!</p>
