What should i bring when asking for rec letter?
Is there any good advice about how to talk to profs?

Additional technical question:
Should rec letter submit online, like giving a link to profs, or mailing, giving envelopes with address attached on?

Read the Transfer Admissions 101 sticky thread.

You probably don’t need to bring anything, but sometimes profs ask to see your transcript (if you have one yet), so they can see how you did in other classes. If your other course grades are strong, they can incorporate that info into their rec.

if you havnt read the sticky yet…there are lots of ways to ask a prof for a letter of rec.

i personally just asked after class. i was already on good terms with the prof and had taken her multiple times so it was pretty easy. to thank her i took her out to dinner.

i just told her to give the letter to me (sealed) and i would hand deliver it. i dont trust the postal service haha. but if you have to snail mail it, the you could give your prof an addressed envelope with a stamp on it. :)
