I have one more year left at high school, and I haven't started studying for SAT I or II. The test dates left before applications are May 6, June 3, Oct. 8, and Nov. 5. I'm taking Literature, Biology, and Math 2 for the SAT II's and the regular SAT. Since I'm average at math, I'm receiving heavy math coaching in September in India. When should I take my tests? My current plan was:

May 6, 2006 - Biology
June 3, 2006 - Literature
Oct. 8, 2005 - Regular SATs
Nov. 5, 2005 - Math level 2

What should I study over the summer? Is this a good plan? Should I take the Math Level 2?

Hey guys, I just realized something! Nov. 5 will not be possible for a test date if I'm applying Early Action to my first choice. Yikes, I'm in trouble... :|

That's true. But how much preparation for the Math Level 2 do I need? Can I crack a 700 if I'm an average student and have 2 months to study with a full school courseload? Or should I postpone that until after the summer? Ahhhh, I'm so confused/panicked.

I feel confident that I can do the Literature and BIO before the summer, but the regular SAT and Math 2... would it be possible? I'd rather do them after, once I've studied and been to India. But then I'd only have one test date and possibly the score wouldn't get reported in time for Nov. 1 (the EA application deadline!!).

Hey, what if I did this: Take Literature and BIO in the spring, take the regular SAT and Math Level 2 in the fall. I think that would cover all the bases, but I would have to apply regular admission to my schools (not EA... is there any disadvantage in this?)

math level 2 doesn't require that much "prep". it's very similar in format to teh SATI. the topics are more advanced. 50 questions, and you need a 43 or 44 raw score to get a perfect. a lot of questions deal with graphs
