I know this doesn't relate to college chances, but I don't know where else to ask it. Here's my question: I took AP Art History in the summer after 11th grade. For colleges like the UCs that only consider classes in the 9th and 10th grades, what year is that class going to be considered in? Thanks

Correction: UC’s only consider sophomore/junior grades. Which means if you took a class at the summer before sophomore year or in the summer after your junior year, then it will be counted.

Not sure why UC’s count rising Senior grades when they are only suppose to count 10th-11th grades, but this is how it is. That means as long as you had finished the course before you applied, then it’ll be considered as part of your junior year, which they do count. This probably extends to other schools in most cases.

So a class that I took the summer before 12th grade counts?

pretty much
