Need help!

Hello, I am currently going into my scone year at Seton Hall University, a small catholic school in Northern New Jersey. Recently, I have considered transferring from Seton Hall into a top school. My top three choices are University of Virginia, University of North Carolina and Tufts University. After completing one year, my currents GPA is a 3.5. I do not know if this is good enough to be admitted to any of the universities. I am asking if anybody knows my chances of being admitted or if they know what kind of GPA I would need to get admitted. Thank you very much and I hope someone can help!

If you look at the Common Data Set for each school you’ll get an idea of how you stand. This is the one for UVA: [Common Data Set: Institutional Assessment and Studies, University of Virginia](http://www.web.virginia.edu/iaas/datacatalog/cds/transfers.shtm) You can see that UVA wants all your HS info as well and an essay. Since all your HS info would be used you’ll probably have to compare your stats to the freshman stats in section C.
