Need help fast!
I paid for my SAT score report last Tuesday, however, the scores still say they are pending. UIUC's website says that all materials need to be POSTMARKED by November 1st. Now I paid for them, and even though they are pending, I would assume that means it has been postmarked by Nov 1st.

Now this would not normally bother me, but my application, completed and paid for, says "Application is incomplete and cannot be processed", and there is not "received date" in the SAT score section. I know the application says that it can take up to two weeks for materials list to be updated, but how can my application go through by November 1st if it cant be processed?!?!?!

On a separate note, the Self Reported Academic Record also has no "Received Date" next to it, even though i completed it, and it says "Your transcript has been submitted" when i click on it.

I have emailed by admissions counselor for UIUC, but I am afraid I will not get a reply over the weekend.

Should I not be worried about this or should I put an order for Rush Processing on the College Board website?

Itry, my son applied to UIUC last night and he couldn’t even see his “status”. No where to find a “status” link to click.

There is a page on UIUC’s website said that sometimes it takes 1 to 2 weeks to process and update the current status, so this maybe the case to you.

^^itry, after you submitted everything, did you see the “status” row instantly? I just login my son’s, there is still nothing. Just some summary of his name and address.

Hmm… there must be something wrong in the system of my son’s app, since my son’s has no “status” row to click, not even mentioning the complete or incomplete messages.
thanks anyway.

JEM611, some schools allow a few days delay as long as you have requested sending scores before deadlines. You should check your EA schools’ policies.

If you requested sending out scores much earlier than deadline and got a unusual delayed by Collegeboard, then I don’t think the schools will penalize you for that.

^^^ Most schools allow them to arrive shortly after the deadline, but UMich is very strict about having everything there Nov. 1 so I’m just doing reg. decision for them

oh i know U Mich is but Illinois says you can have scores POSTMARKED by November 1st/

hey younglookingmom, did your son complete the “Self Reported Academic Record”? If so, what does it say next to it for the Received Date on the application page?

itry,
He did, last night after he submitted the main application part. But the problem is, there is no status button shown on his accat. So he has nowhere to go (click) to see if his application is completed or not. The only thing shown on his acct is just his name, address, those kind of stuff. That’s why I was asking you the question previously.

itry,
My son’s “requirement” box finally appeared. He submitted SRAR last night, but still not updated yet, so there is nothing in the “Received Date” and “Note” boxes.

okay, i guess that is normal than. Strange that it didnt go through immediately, maybe some credit card problem or something.

When did he submit SAT scores? I heard of someone who paid for the score report on a Friday and UIUC updated his SAT status on the next monday. Hopefully the weekend changes something!
