Looking for my chances at:

Princeton
MIT
Brown
Cornell
Michigan
Penn
Johns Hopkins
Carnegie Mellon
Tufts
UCB
Columbia
Yale

Also, what do schools look at when they compare ACT to SAT scores?

These scores are assuming that you actually get what you're expecting for your standardized tests. Hopefully you'll get that bump in your subject tests.

Princeton-Reach
MIT-Less of a reach. Seems like MIT is not so crazy about the perfect score candidates this year.
Brown- No comment. Brown is fickle
Cornell-Match
Michigan-Match
Penn-Less reach
Johns Hopkins-Match
Carnegie Mellon-Match
Tufts-No opinion
UCB-Depends on where you live
Columbia-Reach/match
Yale-Reach

Schools nowadays usually take both, but it's always nice to have an SAT score because so many merit scholarships tend to only ask about SAT (Unless you're one of the lucky few who don't need scholarships)

I know for a fact that columbia has a big chart up on their wall with an ACT composite score that correlates to the estimated SAT score.

The money you raised is a good hook, same with Cross country if you have a good rank in the nation.

Thanks for the feedback, I have to say that "Each ACT point is equal to 45 points on the CR + M SAT" is not true, as 1. Don't you get 200 points per section just for your name? and 2. Percentile-wise, I'm sure there is a great curve, I know that 30 is the 97th percentile.

Also, just how reachy are my reach schools?

If you lettered on a national team shouldn't you be recruited by the coaches of yale and princeton?

If you haven't e-mailed all the coaches at the schools you are looking at than i would do it now! Hopefully you are sub 16:00 for a 5k in order to run at a good school, this would help you and give you a great hook because coachs can tip their athletes in the AdCom room.

I got 34E, 33M, 33R, 28S: 32C on my ACT. Does this help or hurt my chances? Also combining best scores, that puts me at 34E, 33M, 33R, 32S: 33C.

That averages out to about 45 points on the 1600 scale, except for scores of 1-8 on the ACT. For the new SAT it's about 67 points for every ACT score, except for the bottom ones.

Also, not all colleges require the WR portion or facter it in, so it depends on the scale used.

Your reaches are big reaches. White male, above top 5%, average scores for these schools (other than MIT which a 33 math and a 28 science is a big problem), below average (for ivies) ECs....Cornell is the only ivy where I see any chance.

So basically you are saying I have to have perfect scores, and even then places like Brown are a huge reach? I have to say that that sounds kinda crazy. The stats that they have on their websites disagree.

No one said you need perfect scores. At ivies, 60% of every class are hooked applicants: recruited athletes, legacies, URM, development candidates. If you're not in one of those groups, to have a good chance you have to be above the 75% stats wise or exceptional ECs.
