Intimacy, love, and marriage are three different, if interrelated, subjects.
correct answer
(A) different, if interrelated, subjects
(B) interrelated subjects, being, however, different
(C) different subjects, whereas they are interrelated
(D) different subjects when interrelated
(E) subjects that are different although being interrelated

i just can't understand why the answer is A.

What the hell? Whatever test you are studying for, I doubt that a question like this will show up.

i got sth wrong about the meaning of it. it says those 3 are interrelated, so how come could they be different subjects?

They are different subjects that happen to be related by the fact that they are all part of a relationship. That is kinda my best guess on it.

Yeah, I agree with NervesOfJelly. I really doubt you will see something as confusing as THAT on the actual SAT, but the rest of them don't really sound right, so A would have to be it.
