I am applying this fall in business economics. I have completed both econ courses, and 1 quarter of calculus (need a second). This past summer i took the first calculus course at Foothill College (sister college to DeAnza). I am not taking the second quarter calculus class this quarter, but next (Winter 2009). Today I went to the counselor and she told me that I have to take the second quarter calculus class at Foothill College because I took the first one there even though it is a sister school to DeAnza.
Is this true? It doesn't make any sense to me why I would have to do that.

bumpp anyone please?
i even called the uci office of admissions and relations, and the first time i told her the story she said it doesnt matter where you take it. Then i said the counselor i saw today said this, and then the uci lady said stick to what the counselor said. I got the feeling she was tired and didnt know the real answer.
A lot of people have also told me that many of the counselors at DeAnza give wrong information...

It doesn't make sense.
Go ahead make an appoinment with another counselor, tell him/her that You need to be cleared for Calculus II in DeAnza.
(remember bring your official transcript from Foothill).
