Need Help!

I am applying this fall in business economics as a transfer. I have completed both econ courses, and 1 quarter of calculus (need a second). This past summer i took the first calculus course at Foothill College (sister college to DeAnza). I am not taking the second quarter calculus class this quarter, but next (Winter 2009). Today I went to the counselor and she told me that I have to take the second quarter calculus class at Foothill College because I took the first one there even though it is a sister school to DeAnza.
Is this true? It doesn't make any sense to me why I would have to do that.

I posted here because I probably will be transferring to Irvine.

Thanks

bumpp anyone please?
i even called the uci office of admissions and relations, and the first time i told her the story she said it doesnt matter where you take it. Then i said the counselor i saw today said this, and then the uci lady said stick to what the counselor said. I got the feeling she was tired and didnt know the real answer.
A lot of people have also told me that many of the counselors at DeAnza give wrong information...

thanks
