Hey guys.
I have applied for UCI, UCSD, UCLA, and UCB.
I did not know that I have 59 units.
UC admission sent me an e-mail that I need to take one more class.
So I am taking another class.
When UC admission sent me the e-mail, it was from UCSD.
But it said that it may share with UCI, UCSD, UCLA and UCB.
This happened like January and I got acceptance letter from UCSD last week.
But I am just freaking out that what if UCI, UCLA and UCB did not get my e-mail
that I'm taking another course?
Does anyone know about this?
By taking another class because of UCSD's letter,
my total unit is 62 units.

starting today: ucsd is known for its screw ups

contact all the UC’s you applied to by phone/e-mail/person and find out if you need to take further action to secure that your application has gone through smoothly

from what I have been told, UC’s will finish reading applications after next week and they begin to process the admits after that, so hurry up and do something if you are worried

if the email came from ucadmissions and you hit reply, that means ucsd received it and the data will be relayed to all other UCs you applied to.

I am in the same boat! I have 3 more units to take to be over the 60 tranferrable. I have like 66, but not all transfer. My last class to take is a pre req, but I am registered over the summer for that last class… Let me know what you find out!!!

I got the letter from UCSD and I registered another class and that was it.
I sent them the information and I got accepted.
I didn’t get any letter from UCSD that I’m not accepted.
So I should not worry about it right?

no, you dont need to worry. if they know youll be done with over 60 units, youre golden

Yeah, don’t worry. As long as you have those 60 units, then you’re all good! If you’re worried about the other campuses knowing, send them a quick e-mail!

Good luck!^^

no worries. if you sent the data to sd theyll forward it to the other schools and the UC office of the president as well
