need housing help

I am an incoming freshman to the University and I'm wondering what the best housing option would be for me. The school I've been accepted to is the Carlson School of Management. As a Carlson student would I have most of my freshman classes within Carlson on the west bank or would I have general education classes on the east? I'm not big into the party scene but I'm very social. what would be the best housing option for me and what would be the advantages and drawbacks of those houses? Also, any feedback you have on joining the LLC Carlson Leadership house would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry this is so long but any feedback you have would be really helpful.

Middlebrook would be your best option. I think, given your major, that being close to your department would be beneficial. Otherwise I would look into Frontier Hall. I do not have a lot of experience in the lower levels, but so far it does not seem to be overly social in Frontier (Such as partying all night). Middlebrook might seem a little bit away from all of the action, but it would be to your advantage to be that close to your professors and people within your major.

However, the East Bank definitely has a lot of positives as well. The main reason I am staying here next semester is because it is located between the West Bank and the St.Paul campus, it is close to the rec center, and it is near the hospital (I volunteer there). If you like to workout daily, you may get annoyed with having to take the shuttle to the rec or walking a long time(17 minutes).

I would choose Middlebrook if you are going to be involved in your department your first year. Otherwise, enjoy your freshmen years in the superblock. Be aware that you will probably be sharing a bathroom with a lot of people if you choose the superblock though.
