Need I be wary of being a boring CS student with better CR and Writing than Math?

I am applying to the CS programs at a variety of selective schools (including a few Ivies). Most of my application, in its current state, checks out, but one thing I'm worried about is that I got a 740 on my SAT Critical Reading and a 780 on Writing... but only a 710 on Math. As CS is very dependent on math, I'm worried that I'll be thought of as not of the right type for such a field of study. Do you think that I need to retake the SAT to prove to colleges that I am not just a humanities kid? I do think I think more in ideas than in figures, but that may not jibe well with adcoms.

If it matters, I got a 36 on my ACT Math and I'm taking the Math II SAT this fall. However, my parents think that the ACT score will not matter and that adcoms will only look at my lower score. Also, I have no math AP scores under my belt.

You’re over-thinking this by a factor of 1000. The admission committees of the world do not get so caught up with the fine details of SAT scores.

Take a deep breadth. Relax. Enjoy your senior year.
