Ok, so, I am taking Chemistry over the summer at Gainesville State College to transfer to Tech for my Chem requirement (I am a currently enrolled AE student at Tech btw). Apparently, despite being told differently before hand, the class I am taking transfers as Chem 1211K. Can this take the place of Chem 1310 in AE, or do I have to take Chem 1212K also to get my Chem credit?

Any quick help is greatly appreciated as I need to get this sorted out in the next few days.

The Chemistry requirement may be satisfied with CHEM 1310 ( or CHEM 1211K and CHEM 1212K). The extra four hours from CHEM 1212K may be used to satisfy the science electives and free electives.

thank you very much inpursuit. I have one more question I will tag onto this so I do not have to make another thread: does anyone know the requirement for Chem for ME? Like, can I take Chem 1211k in place of chem 1310 without taking 1212? Someone told me you could, but not sure if they were right since AE is different.

No. ME has the same requirement as that of AE. ME requires chem 1310 which is equivalent of 1211 + 1212. So you will have ot take chem 1212
