<p>im really stuck between what languages i should take. i already know english, amharic, and spansh (i have a knack for languages) and I am interested in either two or MAYBE three languages, consisting of spanish, french, russian, and arabic. ive taken spanish for quite awhile and have developed a high level of fluency and french for 2 years, while russian, and arabic would be new additions for me. i guess im stuck deciding whether i should take french, arabic, and or russian since i know for sure im taking spanish. i know french is useful but the sounds are really hard for me to make (is that a stupid reason for quitting?) however ive taught myself basic sayings along with the script in both russian and arabic and haven't found it terribly difficult. i know arabic would be more useful since more people speak it and speakers of arabic are more sought after but i like the russian language more and there's something so mysterious about it. im interested in global studies/international relations so i would probably be going into the UN or some type of work like that if that helps. ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!!!</p>
<p>take cantonese or mandarin, theyre 2 of the most spoken languages in the world, and they’ll be helpful in the UN.</p>
<p>french~~~, nothing more useful than being able to communicate around the world xD. Well, kinda less for Asia and Africa, but at least Europe still viable :)</p>
