Hi everyone!

I'm a senior in high school and I'm having a really tough time in one of my AP classes. Its a science class and I'm absolutely terrible at science. I work my butt off in the course and I probably wont end up with more than a C+ or B- if I'm lucky. I spend 2-3 hours on this class each night and if I devoted this time to my other classes I could be doing extremely well instead of just sliding by with A-'s in everything else. I would also have a lunch period if I drop the class because right now I don't have a lunch and the only way I could is if I dropped the class. I really want to drop the class but I will get a "W" on my transcript. Do you guys think that if I were to drop the class it would impact my college applications really negatively? I'm a pretty solid student with good grades in everything but science. I have no interst whatsoever in persuing anything science related career wise or major wise. I just want to make sure it wont hurt my app. too much. My guidance counselor is being really ambigous. He says he can't say for sure whether or not it will have a huge impact on my application. I was wondering if anyone of you had been in a similar position or could share some advice on what I shoud do.
